I’ve actually been struggling with the insanity of working from home.
I thought it was going to be a dream, and it has it perks (working in PJ’s anyone?), but it’s proving to be more challenging than I originally thought. Most weeks, I communicate with others via email only, so there’s almost no face-to-face interaction!
…which means camping trips, festivals and road trips! My favorite time of the year!
But if you recently switched your diet, or are just becoming more conscious of what you’re eating, it can be tricky. Have no fear as over the last 4 years Peter and I have had a lot of practice, and let’s just say I have it down:)
I used to do this thing where I would eat something like chocolate cake or cold pizza for breakfast and then beat myself up over it. I am happy to say those days are long gone! I want to share my tips for avoiding negative thoughts that can end up in extra pounds!
I didn’t realize the effect my words and thoughts had on my body. Yes cake for breakfast doesn’t usually make you feel good, but I would do it and then immediately think “wow, now I am going to be fat and bloated all day”, and then I would feel exactly that!
